1. Important Information About Shipping Perfumes

Please note that perfumes are classified as restricted goods by most courier services in Malaysia due to their alcohol content and flammable nature . This affects how we ship your order:

  • Courier Restrictions: Not all couriers accept perfume shipments. We partner exclusively with couriers who are licensed and equipped to handle restricted goods safely.

  • No Air Shipping (International): Perfumes contain alcohol and are considered dangerous goods for air transport. International orders may be shipped via sea freight or may not be available at all .

  • Safety Compliance: All packages are packed following strict safety guidelines to prevent leaks or damage during transit.

2. Processing Time

  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after payment confirmation.

  • Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM Malaysia Time (MYT) will begin processing on the next business day.

  • Peak Periods: During sales events (e.g., 11.11, payday sales) or festive seasons (Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali), processing may take 3-4 business days due to high order volume.

Once your order is processed and handed to the courier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

3. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to all states in Malaysia, including:

  • West Malaysia (Semenanjung Malaysia)

  • East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak)

We currently do not ship internationally. This is due to strict international regulations on shipping alcohol-based perfumes by air .

4. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs are calculated based on your order's total weight and destination. Rates are displayed at checkout.

Please Note:

  • Delivery times are estimates provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed .

  • Remote or rural areas (kawasan pedalaman) may experience longer delivery times.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier service, customs clearance, or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, public holidays).

5. Courier Partners

We primarily use the following courier services for deliveries within Malaysia:

  • Pos Laju (for West and East Malaysia)

  • J&T Express (for West Malaysia)

  • DHL eCommerce (for select areas)

We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate courier based on your location, the size of the package, and safety requirements for shipping perfumes.

6. Packaging Guidelines

To ensure your perfume arrives safely, we follow strict packaging procedures:

  • Leak-Proof Sealing: All perfume bottles are sealed with plumbers tape to prevent leakage.

  • Cushioning: Bottles are wrapped in bubble wrap and secured with shock-absorbing materials (foam or packing peanuts).

  • Outer Box: Items are placed in a sturdy corrugated box.

  • "Fragile" Labeling: All packages containing glass bottles are clearly marked as "FRAGILE" .

7. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  1. Shipping Confirmation Email: Contains your tracking number and a link to the courier's website.

  2. SMS Updates: Some couriers may send SMS updates to the phone number provided at checkout.

8. Shipping Restrictions and Prohibited Items

Please be aware of the following restrictions when ordering from Branded Perfume:

  • Age Restriction: By purchasing perfume from our store, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

  • PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO Boxes as a physical signature may be required upon delivery.

  • Incorrect Address: Please ensure your shipping address is accurate. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrectly provided addresses.

9. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

9.1 Damaged Items

Perfumes are fragile items. If your order arrives damaged (e.g., broken bottle, leakage):

  • Immediate Action: Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at fragrancebazar6@gmail.com.

  • Required Information: Include your order number, a photo of the damaged product, and a photo of the outer packaging.

  • Resolution: We will arrange for a replacement or refund in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

9.2 Lost Shipments

If your tracking information shows no movement for 10 business days beyond the estimated delivery date, please contact us. We will initiate a trace with the courier and work to resolve the issue.

9.3 Failed Delivery Attempts

If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available to receive the package, a notification card will be left. Please follow the courier's instructions for re-delivery or pick-up. Packages returned to us due to failed delivery attempts may be subject to additional shipping charges for re-shipment.

10. Order Tracking Status Definitions

  • Order Placed: We have received your order and payment.

  • Order Processed/Shipped: Your order has been packed and handed to the courier.

  • In Transit: Your package is on its way.

  • Out for Delivery: Your package is with the courier and will be delivered today.

  • Delivered: Your package has been delivered.
